This isn't a generic skid plate trimmed down and sold as a fit. Every bend, bolt hole, and panel dimension is engineered specifically for the front skid plate mounting locations on the GMT800-generation 1500 — the '99–'06 Silverado and Sierra 4WD. It drops in clean, sits flush, and doesn't rattle.

Fabricated from 3/16" aluminum plate and CNC cut and formed in-house at our Glendale, AZ shop, it's lighter than steel and corrosion-resistant for the long haul. Ships raw — ready to run as-is or finish it however your build calls for.

What It Protects

The front skid position on these trucks is the first point of contact with anything the trail or road throws underneath you. This plate covers:

• Accessory drive belt and pulleys — one of the most commonly damaged components on lifted trucks running larger tires
• Front of the oil pan — exposed at this position and expensive to replace if cracked on the trail
• Front underbody components directly behind the bumper line
